Respondus BB

Respondus BB is a powerful tool for creating and managing test and survey items that can be printed to paper or published directly to NTULearn, our eLearning system. Test and survey items are created offline in a familiar Windows environment with many time-saving tools, such as MS Word compatible mathematics equation editor and the ability to import existing exams from word processor files.

Respondus BB enhances the efficiency and usability of NTULearn in assessment creation. With Respondus BB, you can:

  • create nine question types, including calculated and algorithmic formats offline
  • insert mathematical equations using an equation editor similar to that used in MS Word
  • add tables, bulleted lists, font changes, and format text (including superscripts and subscripts) just like in a word processor
  • embed or link graphics, media objects and file attachments
  • import questions and accompanying images from rich-text files
  • “Spell check” an entire exam file
  • determine point values and test/survey settings offline
  • preview and print questions offline
  • access to hundreds of publisher test banks in Respondus format
  • publish test, survey and question pool to multiple course sites
  • retrieve test, survey, question pool and Gradebook from NTULearn
